“ This is a relaxing place to meet friends for a meal. They also have a good variety of gluten free options that are full and tasty meals. The atmosphere is casual and the service is excellent. ”
“ Food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy and perfectly decorated with books, paintings, and a nice calmly lit room. There are good vegetarian options, good cocktail and mocktail options. The waiter was extremely friendly and did an amazing job! 10/10. ”
“ I went in expecting an English pub and was surprised with what I found! It is more of an English pub with an American twist... You won't find malt vinegar or HP Sauce on the tables, and the chips on the menu aren't chunky chips, they're lovely thick-cut homemade potato crisps. I recommend giving them a go. In general, flavor profiles are not what you'll find in England, such as a nice fennel sausage in your sausage roll. Speaking of sausage rolls and no brown sauce, the dish is served with petal sauce (ketchup, mayo, garlic), which was new for me! The food is good quality and nicely prepared and presented. Admittedly, it's a bit on the pricey side. The staff are super friendly and easy to chat with. Our glasses are kept full, and we were given just the right level of attention. ”
“ Tonight, my wife and I ate at the crooked goose. We had never been here before and the atmosphere was amazing. We split the fries (10/10). She got the gluten free chicken tenders (10/10). And I got the braised beef gravy with noodles (10/10). Even though the atmosphere and food was amazing, one of the highlights was our waiter Mark. He kept us laughing the whole time and took great care of us! Thank you Mark! ”
“ I was chatting over messenger before coming because I wanted to know about the vegan options. They told me to call before coming to check if anything they had that night was what I wanted. I didn't feel like calling so we just went in. I was presently surprised about the cauliflower steak dish. It was so delicious and I would go back just for that. Friendly staff and good decor. ”
“ I’ve been here three times; the last three times I have visited Williamsport. This pub is a great addition to the food and gathering scene for the town. In my opinion the Crooked Goose is a reason to visit Williamsport. I have often lamented the lack of quality English pubs in the USA. The Crooked Goose, in my opinion is the most authentic. The bar manager’s innovative and fun cocktails include far flung spirits such as Pisco and Mezcal, the menu is varied and whilst not typical traditional English fare, the chef’s modern and cosmopolitan take on traditional plates, such as the fish and chips, definitely works. The ambience is like a well lived and loved home. Bookcases full of well read books, quotes from the classics to the modern inviting thoughtful contemplation and social interaction. I visit my MIL who lives in town frequently and I consider the Crooked Goose my local now ”
“ What a great place for food and drinks! Amazing atmosphere, great service and great cocktails! Catie and Cassia are the best mixologists behind the bar! ”
“ My son, daughter-in-law, and I went for Sunday Brunch. The menu had a sizable selection of English Breakfast fare. The server was helpful and pleasant. And the food was prepared well and delicious. Just a note - I ordered hot tea and many places bring you a box with a selection of different teas plus extra hot water in order to enjoy a second cup (Most tea bags are designed to have a second serving) I WAS asked what type of tea but not able to make my own selection and also was not given extra water. I know it seems like a small detail but when paying 3 for one tea bag the details are what turns a good experience into a delightful one. ”
